Proverbs 11:30 states, “he who wins souls is wise.” Jesus declared in Mark 8:36-37 that there is nothing more valuable then a man’s eternal soul. It was for the eternal souls of all men for which our Lord came to live and die (John 3:16; Matthew 20:28; Luke 19:10; 1 Timothy 1:15). Before returning to Heaven, Jesus commanded His faithful apostles to go into all the world and make disciples of all men, by baptizing and teaching them to obey all that He has commanded (Matthew 28:18-20). Given the foregoing, it is clear that if one be like Christ, he must deeply care for the eternal souls of the lost. We are dedicated to the gospel mission of evangelism through community outreach.
At Palomar, we have a number of areas that aim to accomplish the goal of saving the lost.
1. We conduct “door knocking” campaigns to take the gospel directly to the community of San Marcos
2. Annual gospel meetings for the direct purpose of evangelizing and edifying.
